Mission Wag 4 Tails is to help pet parents care for their furry family members!
Dedicated to delivering pawsitive vibes and top-notch care, we’re here to make every pet feel like a rock star!

Wag 4 Tails was founded in 2006 by lifelong animal lovers, Toba and Maria, two Ridgewood moms looking to get out, do meaningful work and providing some income while the kids were in school. What started as a small friends in business adventure has grown into a beloved local dog walking business, known for its compassionate and personalized approach to pet care.

Meet The Team


Maria - 
Founder and Chief Pet Lover, Mom, Organizer, Coordinator, Problem solver

Growing up in the country where stray dogs walk freely on the streets I have developed an early love for animals in need of care and affection. After years of growing career in accounting and then programming, raising two beautiful girls in between, I have found true passions unfold when started a dog walking with my best friend Toba in 2007.
Knowing that my job makes a difference in so many pet lives as well as "human" makes every work day fun and filled with gratitude for all the trust we are given.
Alissa - Customer Care Manager

I am Alissa and I grew up with a firm belief that dogs are equal members of the family. I have two children and a Cavachon named Iggy. 
When I’m not busy pouring affection onto them and all the precious babies in the Wag4Tails family, I like to read, travel, sing and watch my kids in all their sports and theater events.
Donna - Pack leader, Pet Sitter

Hi I'm Donna. I am a mom to 4 children and 2 sweet dogs. When not taking care of my family I enjoy yoga classes, traveling, skiing, and baking.

I'm a compassionate animal lover and look forward to meeting your furry friends!
Mike - Professional Pet  Sitter

Hello my name is Mike O’Neill, this is me with my two dogs Eli and Maggie. I have grown up with dogs all my life and that’s why I’m such a good fit for WAGS. I love all dogs and I’m looking forward to taking care of yours when you can’t!

Hi I'm Paul. When I'm working at home as an audio mixer my two cats keep me company. I've always been around dogs growing up and have always loved animals (and miss my beagle Casey!). If you need a helping hand taking care of your dogs and cats all of us at Wag 4 Tails are ready to help out. We'll give them great care and lots of love!

I grew up with two dogs and a cat and I found that I didn’t want to go through life without being surrounded by some loving, furry friends :) I volunteered at a dog shelter for a few years. Working as a dog walker gives me the experience to best care for your pets today. I look forward to the opportunity to take care of and spend time with your pets!

Kurt - Professional Pet  Sitter

Hi, my name is Kurt. I have a full-time job working nights, but needed something to fill my days while my kids are at school. Since I love animals and have had dogs my whole life, I felt that doing something I would enjoy, like caring for pets would be perfect. Wag 4 Tails provides an amazing service to pet families, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the team.

Hi, I’m Skyler! I have lived in Ridgewood my whole life, and I am currently attending Fordham University. I have two dogs and a cat. Our dog, Bella, and cat, Momo, have been in our family since I was ten. Also, we just added a new addition to our family over quarantine, and his name is Bean (in picture). I’m excited to join the team and promise to take good care of your fur babies and give them all the walks, pets, and love they deserve!

Hi, I’m Regina I love nature and the outdoors . My favorites are bicycling, hiking, and reading. . I also love all genres of music. I’ve raised my family in Bergen County. 

I grew up in a large family and there was always animals around me. My love for pets is a constant in my life. They bring so much joy and unconditional love,. I’ve also learned so much from these special animals.

My family’s rescue Champ is an adventurous and sweet boy! All the dogs and cats we had growing up and my two fun loving bulldogs will always have a forever place in my heart. 

Caring for your special family pets is a delight and privilege. Excited to meet , care and brighten their days!

Hi! I'm Haley, a proud resident of Glen Rock and a passionate animal lover. My yellow lab, Bear, brought so much joy and adventure to my life, and our morning and afternoon walks were some of my favorite moments. 
Though I miss him dearly, I'm excited to join the Wag4Tails team and bring the same love, energy, and care to your furry friends. 
I can't wait to provide them with fresh air, exercise, and companionship!

Hi I Am Judy! I am Retired from a career in Public Health in 2021 I was looking for part time work when I found Maria’s add for Wags 4 Tails.
 We immediately connected and soon I was a Dog walker. I love meeting all kinds of dogs. The staff I have met are exceptional!
 I have been married to my husband John since 2001. We have two children Michael who will be graduating in May from Quinnipiac University and my daughter Sophia who is a junior at Clemson University.
I love dogs and all animals! I look forward to meeting you and taking care of your furry loved pets!
