As a new client, you will start by filling out our Sign Up Form. This form helps us to learn more about your and your pet’s needs.

After we receive your Sign Up Form, we will contact you to find out more about your needs and pair you with the best pet sitter pawsible!

You will then be set up with a free account for easy scheduling, payments and updating your pets routines.

Next, Wag 4 Tails sitter will come over to your home for a new client consultation. This is a great opportunity to ensure we are the correct fit for your family, and that your family is a great fit for us! These meetings are priced at $20.

After your consultation, you will submit scheduling requests via your online account, and you will be a part of the Wag 4 Tails family!

After each visit, clients receive automatic updates via our Pet Sitter Professionals software system. These updates include photo/s and a note about your pup's visit.

How long have you been in business?
Established in 2006 we are proud to be the longest-established pet care service in Ridgewood and its neighboring areas!
Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely! We carry a comprehensive liability insurance policy, a crime bond, and workers’ compensation insurance. Our insurance policies are held with Business Insurance of the Carolinas and Next workers’ compensation insurance.
Does Wag For Tails hire employees or independent contractors?
We’re proud to say that our pet care professionals are all employees of our company! We never hire independent contractors, which leads to low turnover and a stable team of experienced and trustworthy professionals to provide our services.
How do you access my home?

We will need a secure hiding spot, a lockbox, keypad access, or a garage/door code to enter your home, as we don’t accept physical keys.

How long will it take to be contacted?
One of our pack leaders will reach out to you as soon as possible to arrange a meet-and-greet with the nearest available sitter. We’re happy to answer any questions and share our policies at that time!
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that our sitters have busy lives too! If a service is canceled within 24 hours, we charge the full fee and the sitter gets paid. Cancellations on weekends and holidays within 48 hours will incur a full fee. For vacation visits, a cancellation within four days of the first visit will result in a fee equal to one full day of service. We do not offer any refunds for services canceled within 10 days of a holiday.
How far in advance should I schedule?
We recommend scheduling dog walks at least a month in advance for holidays. For walks outside the holiday season, a week’s notice is usually sufficient. We always encourage planning as early as possible since our schedules tend to fill up quickly!
How do I schedule and pay for dog walking?
You can easily request services through our Pet Sitter Plus scheduling platform. We aim to get back to you with a confirmation within a few hours. We can only confirm services when your payment method is added to your portal. We’ll invoice you at the end of each month, and your payment method will be charged for the amount due. You can log into your portal anytime to view your statement!
Will I have the same walker every time?
If you are a recurring client, with the same days and times that repeat monthly, you will have a primary sitter assigned. When the primary sitter is off a secondary sitter will cover. If you are an occasional client we will do our best to schedule a sitter that knows your pet, if they are not available, any sitter should be able to visit and take care of your pet.
What are the time frames for the visits?
We operate on a two-hour window to accommodate things like busy schedules, traffic, weather, and last-minute requests. You can choose your two hour timeframe at the time of booking. If you wish that we come closer to a specific time you can put that in the visit note at the time you are requesting service. We are able to provide a more precise arrival time for pets with medical needs or for puppies still in training.
