🪴 Keep Your Pup on a Leash (And Respect Everyone’s Space)
Even the sweetest, most well-trained dogs can get distracted by other pets, loud sounds, or that squirrel across the street. Keeping your dog leashed keeps everyone safe – your dog, other pets, and nearby humans.
Quick tips:
- Use a shorter leash in busy areas
- Save longer leashes for wide-open parks
- Not all dogs (or people!) are up for surprise meet-and-greets – always ask first
- Watch out for joggers, kids, and cyclists

Pack these for your walk:

- Water and a collapsible bowl – it’s getting warm out
- A few treats for rewards
- Maybe a towel if your dog loves puddles
